Fred Hawrysh is the North American President & CEO of PPR, overseeing offices in New York, Washington D.C., San Francisco and Austin.
Fred came to PPR from the technology services and strategy firm Accenture where he was the Global Head of Communications, responsible for internal, external, financial and executive communications and global thought leadership marketing. Previously he served as the Global Head of Corporate Affairs for the data and news giant Thomson Reuters where he led external communications, branding, advertising, sponsorships and corporate responsibility.
Before joining the corporate world, Fred worked for public relations agency Burson-Marsteller for more than 20 years, in Vancouver, Hong Kong, Singapore, The Hague, London and in its NY headquarters. He served in a number of client-facing roles, culminating in Chief Client Officer and head of the agency’s global client program.
Fred began his career as an award-winning business journalist in Canada. He has a journalism degree from Carleton University, Ottawa.

As CEO, Michael’s leads PPR’s team of consultants across six offices in Australia and New Zealand to deliver effective strategies and campaigns that connect brands and businesses with the communities they need to reach.
An experienced strategic communications consultant, Michael builds corporate and consumer brands, delivers crisis and issues management and works with business leaders to develop thought leadership positions.
Michael has devised integrated communication campaigns across multiple sectors including airlines, forestry and personal finance, and offers clients evidence based strategic advice combining creative execution to deliver effective communication campaigns.
Michael has spent 20 years in the UK and Australia advising global brands including McDonald’s, Dell, Woolworths, Emirates, and Subway.
