PPR Worldwide France (PPR) developed a comprehensive marketing and commercial communication program for Cèdre, a social enterprise leader in Ile de France (Paris region) with a focus on sorting of waste in the office and recycling. Our partnership started in 2014 via creation of the brand platform and we continue to work closely with them to develop ongoing innovative and creative communications.
Cèdre is based on a social model focused on providing employment to disabled individuals and key brands values include respect for the environment and solidarity. For over a year, we closely worked with Cèdre to make a powerful brand image in order to boost the business of this fast growing company. Our approach had been to create a brand territory that is aligned with the brand values. We developed the brand motto, ‘by Nature solidarity’, to resonate with the company’s commitment as well as with aspirations of people living in an urban environment. We created brand visuals and commercial tools, and are developing communication projects around nature, solidarity, quality, service and innovation.
The Cèdre brand has grown and evolved into a unique and aspirational in the competitive waste sorting sector, allowing it to attract more new customers and the company growth is currently at 40%. Our various tools and campaigns have resonated very well with Cèdre’s customers, such as the manifesto to promote nature in the office, a newsletter on welfare in the city and ecological motivations, as a web site to promote disabled people at work, are very popular with customers, and have resulted in significant new business growth.
